The 115 Clapton Common project involved the redevelopment of an Orthodox synagogue in North London, including internal demolition and refurbishment of the existing building. The scheme was carefully designed to support both religious and community use, while significantly upgrading the existing facilities. The development comprises a double basement, ground floor and three upper storeys, together with a two-storey rear extension. The completed building provides a main prayer hall, study and meeting rooms, multi-purpose community spaces, a Rabbinical college, additional accommodation and a basement Mikvah designed to meet strict religious and technical requirements.
