The House in Putney project involved the excavation and construction of a new basement beneath the existing property, together with the full refurbishment and modernisation of the house. The works delivered a completely upgraded private residence, including new electrical and plumbing systems, improved insulation, bespoke joinery, and high-quality kitchen and bathroom finishes. The basement was fully waterproofed to create usable lower-ground living space within the home. Externally, a new lower-ground garden was created with retaining structures and a carefully considered hard and soft landscaping scheme. This improved the connection between the basement living areas and the garden, creating a high-quality private outdoor setting.
